Are you worried about losing your fitness during pregnancy but scared of doing anything in case it may harm the baby? Or maybe you are worried that you are never going to return to your weight and shape pre-conception but lack the energy or feel too self-conscious about exercise?
Exercise and good nutrition during pregnancy has been proven to actually benefit the unborn child providing a carefully constructed programme is implemented and maintained, which stays true to that client’s individual requirements.
All pre and post-natal clients will need to fill out a Pre-Exercise Screening Questionnaire download here prior to undertaking any exercise program with Richard Lamb – The Fitness Formula. The client would then book in for a free consultation to discuss the results of the questionnaire and the lifestyle questionnaire download here so that we can map out a suitable training programme moving forwards. Again, all clients will have access to a tailored nutrition plan and advice, inclusive within the price, provided they book up 10 or 20 sessions in advance.
Richard also offers Post-Natal style boot camps for those new mums who are fed up of being stuck indoors a lot of the time and who long for some social interaction. These sessions however are only applicable for those who have previously taken part in regular physical activity, are part of the same NCT Class and therefore are at similar stages of the post-natal cycle. These sessions will not be appropriate for those who have previously led a fairly sedentary life prior to birth see price list.
I have previously run successful post natal classes in Queens Park and in Twickenham and am now keen to run these sessions around the Wimbledon area.
