Richard Lamb –  Fitness Formula offers a wide range of training packages and services to cater for people’s different requirements and budgets.  For health and safety reasons all prospective clients have to fill out a Pre Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) download here and submit it before taking part in any of Richard’s training programmes or packages.  Further to this all clients who choose the 1-2-1 and 1-2-2 programmes will receive a free initial consultation.  This consultation will consist of the following:

  • Discuss the results of the lifestyle questionnaire download here which should be submitted online prior to the consultation date.
  • Static health testing and consent forms.
  • Discuss their requirements and establish the relevant strength and fitness tests that will provide the benchmark to view future progress against.
  • Discuss short, medium and long term goals and establish the optimum number a training sessions that a client requires per week.

For those clients who choose 1-2-1 or 1-2-2 sessions, regular testing will be carried out to determine progress and training sessions will be adapted as necessary with re-assessments taking place every six months.  Any testing will only be carried out with your prior consent consent forms.

In order to meet many clients’ goals however good nutrition is just as important as the exercise programme therefore Richard also offers nutrition plans and advice to all its clients tailored to meet the individual needs of that client.  Where required, clients will need to complete a two week food diary and submit it so we can establish the changes to the diet that need to be made moving forwards.
